Solar Ready - what is it?

We offer a solar cylinder plus "pre-piping" service, so that you can install an Azzuro solar cylinder now, and at the same time pre-pipe your home for solar water heating.  Your home is now Solar Ready.

New home:

If you are building a new home, installing an Azzuro solar cylinder and pre-piping for solar is very straightforward.  Making your new home Solar Ready means that you can complete your home with solar hot water later. 

Existing home needing new cylinder:

When you need a new hot water cylinder, either because you need a more energy efficient cylinder or the existing one has failed or for any other reason, this is a great time to Solar Ready your home.  We will provide the most suitable Azzuro solar cylinder option for you, and pre-pipe your home for solar.

You have now future-proofed your home, added value to your most valuable asset, and obtained peace of mind all at the same time.

When you are ready, we will supply the Azzuro CPC collectors and ancillary control equipment to complete your Azzuro Solar hot water system.

You may be eligible for the $1000 EECA grant at that time using one of our eligible systems which uses the existing solar ready cylinder - please ask your installer, or contact us.

And although you can't capture the sun's energy yet, your Azzuro solar cylinder will function on electricity alone. This means you can choose when you would like to install Azzuro CPC collectors and ancillary control equipment, to complete your Azzuro Solar hot water system.
